From the source in Donaueschingen to the river mouth where the Danube joins the Black Sea, we want to cycle the 3,000 kilometres along the Danube together. As a sporting challenge, we have set ourselves the goal of being there within 14 days.
We would like to collect donations for a good cause for every kilometer that we ride on our bikes.
About Us
Ruben
34 years
"I bought my first racing bike 6 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I love the peace and the incredible beauty that you can discover while cycling.
After I have already cycled to the Mediterranean Sea, as well as to the North and Baltic Sea coasts, I would now also like to discover the Black Sea."

"After starting my racing bike adventure on the Danube Cycle Path 12 years ago, things has come full circle for me. My previous tours have taken me to Portugal and Greece, among other places.
I would now like to make a small contribution through my sporting achievements to helping children."

Children & Family
The Tannheim aftercare clinic stands for the concept of family-oriented rehabilitation, which it largely founded on our motto: “THE PATIENT IS CALLED FAMILY”.
If a child is seriously and chronically ill, the entire family suffers. The fear for the child, the uncertainty about the course of the disease and the effects of acute therapy put enormous strain on parents and siblings.
The family needs help - and receives it in the Tannheim aftercare clinic, which practices a medico-therapeutic treatment approach that is specifically tailored to the rehabilitation of families with chronically ill children. The sick child and the family can gain new strength in the security of our clinic. With intensive medical and psychosocial support, the family is able to stabilize themselves physically and mentally and to look to the future.
Children's Aid
In Lima, the capital of Peru, an estimated one in three people live in slums. Many families with children live in deplorable conditions in dilapidated huts made of wood and tin. Parents and children have to start the fight for survival every morning. They try to get some money through any kind of work. Often it's not even one euro per head in the evening. Children are hit particularly hard. From an early age they learn what it means to live on the margins of society: They attend the worst schools in the city, have the worst learning conditions and the worst nutrition. But just as bad is the fact that they often lack love and care.
The Lima children's organization was founded to be there for these children in particular. For 50 years we have been working to give children in need opportunities for life. Our Christian view of humanity is the engine that keeps us going, because every person needs security and deserves to be treated with dignity. We work to ensure that these children have good prospects for their future. You can be a part of it.
